A Journey Through Wisdom, Science, and the Depths of the Soul

Exploring shamanism, for me, is like stepping into a living tapestry of history, natural science, medicine, biochemistry—and at the same time, gaining a deeper understanding of myself. It is a fascinating journey where ancient knowledge meets modern insights into the body and nervous system. Shamanism teaches us that nature is not just something we exist in, but a living, wise guide. The trees, the water, the wind—all carry an intelligence that can help us find balance and a sense of safety within ourselves.

My advanced course in shamanism took me through five deep modules, expanding upon my foundational training from 2019 when I spent a month in Dr. Vilodo’s home in Chile. But let me be clear—I do not call myself a shaman. That is a title only native tribes can bestow, often after 15–20 years of lived learning within their community. What I do is respectfully absorb this wisdom, first and foremost for my own growth, but also as inspiration for my annual retreats in Dalarna.

When we listen to nature’s signals, we begin to understand the language of our own nervous system on a deeper level. The whispers of the forest, the flickering flames of fire, the flow of water—all mirror the processes happening within us. By syncing our inner world with nature’s cycles, we not only heal but also rediscover a deeper sense of belonging and connection. With curiosity and reverence, I continue this journey, where shamanic wisdom and modern neurobiology intertwine. Learning from nature is more than a path to healing—it is a reminder that we have always been part of something greater.
