The Grounded Retreat

YOU’RE INVITED TO A TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE WHERE WE’LL EXPLORE THE LANGUAGE OF YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM WITH CURIOSITY AND SELF-COMPASSION.

My goal is to help you step back this weekend, lean into yourself, and trust that nature has your back and that your answers are within you. Let go of the urge to push, figure things out, or drive forward. Instead, allow yourself to pause, settle, and surrender, even if just for a brief moment, to simply being.

From this grounded place, your mind will find clarity, and you may discover the courage to listen to your own inner magic. Louise will guide you in understanding your cravings, symptoms, and how you might be standing in your own way.

TRUE retreats offer a safe, intimate, and transformative space with like-minded individuals, so you know you’re not alone on this journey.

The Location

The retreat takes place at the historic Sandsgården in Gopshus, a charming Dala Village located 20 km northwest of Mora. Nestled in the stunning mountain landscape of Dalarna, this privately owned estate features 11 double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower. Relax in the sauna and hot tub by the creek, and if you’re feeling adventurous, take a refreshing cold plunge.

This programme is a mindful blend of action and stillness. Experience gentle, intentional body movements alongside mindful exercises that encourage deep inner exploration in your own time. Our hikes through the breathtaking landscape connect us with nature, while evening fire ceremonies provide a space to integrate and reflect on the day’s teachings and insights.

— Past retreat participant

“A nice weekend where I both had the opportunity to land, take care of myself and develop further; both mentally, physically and mentally. When I was given the opportunity to "just" take care of myself and be held, spaces were also created to release emotions and reflections with me that are important to me in my continuation trip.I think it was amazing how Louise combines theory with opening up people in parallel to dare to land in it that needs to come up. A fine tuning and ability that you rarely meet.I think that all of you leaders met in an incredibly nice way me when I needed it.”

— Past retreat participant

“It was so wonderful to feel in a short time a sense of security in a group of people I have not met previously, a great female force and cohesion, it exceeded all my expectations. Fantastic leaders, calm and beautiful surroundings, good food, new impressions and insights, and an incredible group. All the leaders were amazing and super knowledgeable in their field areas. And so nice that it felt like a forgiving environment where we didn't strive for perfection, but that you had to do your part best and that was good enough. And Louise, I loved how you were vulnerable and genuine, that gave the group a nice and open dynamic. You have something very special. So good too that you mixed theory with your own reflections and that you were so kind and open to all.”

A morning glimpse

Nature's rhythm sets the pace as the morning light touches my eyes. With bare feet on the moist earth I take it all in, I snuggled up in a warm knitted hoodie as I am sipping on a warm cup of tea. I slowly move off the deck and into the main hall. I feel every joint, breath and muscle in my strong body as the morning practice awakens and energizes my body.

In a slow yet steady pace, my body then takes me to the kitchen navigated by the freshly made coffee and nourishing omelet. As I enter the kitchen I smile as I notice the colourful smoothies and feel the whole hearted atmosphere. I am held, I am taken care of and relaxed.

What You’ll Eat

Our private chef will be cooking nourishing meals for both a grounding body and an awakened soul, everything in sync with the season and the local farmers. We will be serving dairy and gluten free meals throughout our days together.

  • JESSICA

"The best thing that has happened to me in a long time. The presentation of the work we were going to do was done in a simple way playful way. This made people curious about learning more. In an understandable way, I understand that if I do a little each day, I have the opportunity to feel so much better. Didn't think I could access my feelings in one deeper levels in just a couple of days. Then be able to feel so good when I went home."

  • ANNA

"It was exactly what I was hoping for. So well led throughout the weekend. Good combination of being in intensive work and time for yourself.
I appreciate that. Grateful for the contact and acquaintance with you Louise and for the massage by Elisabeth and looking forward to going to her more times."

  • EMELIE

"As a local, the environment was perfect, log cabins that invite peace and security, the view of the mountains and the proximity to nature. Positively surprised by the comfortable beds and bedding. That the nervous system is so very important and the body is fantastic!

It also strengthens me in my profession as masseuse connected to, among other things, rest, recovery for the person on the bench. In addition, a lot of fun thoughts about co-creation!"

  • FINA

The mind is calm. My body is calm. With the breath I glimpses inward.

I want to slow down. I want to go deeper Yes, it was like balm! Would have liked to go deeper. But at the same time exciting that it didn't, took to me

the insights in a different way.The stretch released the pain in my shoulder.Curious about more. More stretch, more breathing, moreunderstanding. More magic stones and ponchos :)
