Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each body is unique. As are your experiences, environments, genetics, eating habits, and lifestyle habits. Thus, understanding and treating your health concerns require individualized investigation, comprehensive testing, and a recovery roadmap tailored to your particular needs. This is exactly what functional medicine is all about. It's all about you when it comes to functional medicine - well, you and science. In places where conventional medicine hasn't worked, it can be as thorough, effective, and long-term as natural medicine.

  • If you know you need change, but don’t know where to begin, let’s start by having a free call so I can better understand you and your needs. I can then suggest which of my services would be best for you.

  • Is being healthy on your to-do list? What I mean by that is.. are you always DOING thing to stay healthy, the diet, the perfect sleep, the testing, the biohacks, the supplements, the meditation the movement… you name it, you do it all. yet you are still not getting better ? Well… my guess is you are not BEING. Allowing the master intelligence of the body to unfold, arise and do the magic for you. You are still in control, you are still micromanaging everything and can’t lean back and trust the body… if so.. that’s OK. There is a reason for that.

  • Many of my clients are headstrong, have tons of discipline and master great willpower, yet those beautiful traits are not going to help you when healing stored trauma in the body, on the contrary. Trauma work does require dedication to the journey but a journey of self-compassion and tons of courage from the heart. We can’t biohack or push through the vagus nerve- trust me if we could I would not be here working with what I do today. Trauma work is not a job for the mind - we are designed to hold and heal our stored emotions with our heart and body.

  • Cold exposure and breath work come in many shapes and forms - they can be great regulation tools for many people, however if you are doing them for an instant regulation of your nervous system to feel better in the present moment and over time are still wondering why you are still feeling anxious or fall back into old habits you might just be managing this on the surface not what is at a deeper level, at the root cause. Important when we use these tools we need to stay within our window of tolerance & safety, grow capacity over time so the body still feels safe if we want to heal at the nervous system level and get at the root cause…

    This takes time and patience.
